No contest as
Tiffeny Milbrett is named WUSA Player of the Week
Milbrett was an automatic
choice for player of the week after her scintillating performance in the Power's
opener at Washington DC. last week.
What is ominous about her display of skills is the threat she represents to the other teams iin the league now that she has players like Ormen and Rapp behind her. Their accurate and powerful ball service means that she will be able to use her speed, skill and mental accuity to its maximum potential.
After spending last season leading her team with her continuous field presence and drive, she now has the skilled and knowledgable support she needs to reveal her complete game. What a treat in store for the fans across the USA, and a major problem for the coaches of opposing teams.
What is particularly impressive
is that she has earned every minute of her success with her work ethic and attitude.
As ever, she remains as one of the top role models for girls and women in soccer,
