Another match so one sided that it was painful to watch. Unfortunately this kind of situation is similar to some of the menÍs World Cup qualifying matches, and cannot be avoided. The referee from Costa Rica was in control the whole game, and did a superb job. It was quite a contrast to the lax officiating by the referee from Cuba in the previous match, whose lack of penalizing some horrible fouls by Haiti put Costa Rica players in danger of severe injury.
