Post match quote

UCLA head coach Jillian Ellis

I really though we played well and deserved this result. This was a big win because Stanford always seems to play us extremely tough. Nicole Barnhart is a tremendous goalkeeper and we were fortunate to slip one by her tonight.

Barnhart had to leave the match in the 89th minute after a hard collision with a Stanford defender. She ended the match with 10 saves. Erica Holland came in and finished the match for Stanford. Bruin goalkeeper Valerie Henderson picked up her 11th win of the season.

UCLA finishes the weekend by hosting Cal on Sunday at Noon.
