Post game quote

Washington head coach Lesle Gallimore

Portland is a team that can always score one goal and make it stick if they want to. They are good enough and composed enough that way. Losing to Portland is not a bad loss, but I'm disappointed because we are a better than we showed tonight. It's disappointing that we only played for 45 minutes and not for 90. I don't think we played well the first half.  I'm happy that we came out and played much better in the second half.

The Huskies have a pair of games next weekend. They host Portland State, Friday, October, 3rd. at 5 p.m. and Idaho State, Sunday, October, 5th. at noon.
