Marcie Laumann appointed to the USL Marketing Executive Committee

Laumann ,as owner and general manager, has been the main driving force in promoting and marketing the HamptonRoads Piranhas and the W-league. She also serves on the USL Competition Committee and the W-League Executive Committee. Her active committment to the women¹s game has resulted in the top W-League teams becoming important feeder teams for WUSA. The Pirhanas alumni include players on the U.S., Australian , Canadian and Nigerian national teams.

Laumann¹s team starts their season on May, 3, 2003 away at Greensboro, North Carolina against the Greensboro Twisters.
