2003 M.A. C . Hermann Trophy winner Cat Reddick is the 2003 Chevrolet Young Female Athlete of the Year

She was a starter for the U.S. Under- 21 National Team that won the 2003 Nordic Cup, having played in the three previous winning years. After Chastain was injured at the 2003 World Cup Reddick was substituted in and started in the U.S.National Team's final five matches.

All of this while at school at the University of North Carolina where she finished off 2003 helping lead her team to an undefeated season and the NCAA Championship.
