ESPN
to televise some 2003 WUSA games
The
ESPN networks will join PAX TV in broadcasting 23 league games
in 2003. ESPN2 will televise four of those games, including the
opening match this Saturday as Washington takes on Carolina at
2:00 p.m. ET. ESPN2 will also carry the 2003 All-Star Game, which
is scheduled for June 19 at SAS Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET. They
will also carry one of the playoff games on August 17 at 6:00
p.m. ET. ESPN2 will carry Founders Cup III on August 24 in San
Diego. That match is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET.
